Caption Hero by RECRE8BOX
Last updated: June 22, 2026. This policy explains how Caption Hero handles information when you add automatic captions to your own videos.
When you choose a video, Caption Hero reads it from your photo library so the app can generate, edit, preview, and export subtitles. This processing happens on your device. RECRE8BOX does not collect, store, or transmit your videos, audio, or subtitle text to our own servers.
Caption Hero uses Google AdMob to show rewarded ads that support the free export flow. Google may process advertising identifiers, ad interaction data, and device or diagnostic signals to serve and measure ads. If App Tracking Transparency is shown on iOS, personalized ad tracking is optional and the app still works if you decline.

To unlock an export, Caption Hero verifies that the rewarded ad was completed. The app may send an anonymous per-install identifier and a one-time reward session token to a RECRE8BOX verification service. This verification does not include your name, email address, videos, audio, or subtitle text, and is not used to identify you personally.
Caption Hero does not maintain user accounts or store your media content on RECRE8BOX servers. Local project data can be removed by deleting projects or uninstalling the app. Anonymous reward-session records used for ad verification are short-lived and do not contain your media content.
Caption Hero is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this app.
We may update this policy to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
